stained glass

I had some tree sap fall on the car a year ago and it stained the passenger window with a blueish tint. This doesn't go away. I tried glass cleaner, pressure washer, rub it, etc. it doesn't do any thing. I tried the tree sap and bug remover, it doesn't do a thing either.

below the paint has the same problem but it is less visible.

what should I try next?

Have you tried claying the glass, if that does not work you can try #0000 steel wool with Bon-Ami, or a glass polish like Zaino or Groit's, these products contain mild abrasives and work well on hard to remove stains. On the paint I would use a product like 3M Scratch and Swirl Remover.

I've never used a clay bar, but that word keeps popping up everyday, so I think it's time for me to look at how it works, etc
