Mcquires or Zaino? Or probably other? I personally use Mcquires but ive been seeing the crazy shine from Zaino bros products and im thinking i might change when the bottle ends... What do yall use and which would yall prefer?

 

Use one, take a picture. Next time use the other, take a picture. Compare, decide, stick with... until you see somethin better. Then repeat process.

 

I used Meguiar's product for many years and was pretty satisfied with the shine, but very dissatisfied with the protection, very limited durabiity, and hard buffing with multiple steps. In fact, I think I had nearly used every type of wax and polish products they made at the time. After I tried Zaino a few years back, I've never bought another bottle of Meguiar's wax....

I've used plenty of other waxes and sealants too since then, but I always end up coming back to Zaino b/c it just outperforms nearly everything out there....it's awfully hard to beat!

 

Does Meguiar's have a product similar to Zaino's Gloss Enhancer? That stuff is amazing.

 

Well, Meguiar's does make a couple QD type products that function simarly to the Zaino Z6 QD, however the ingredients are different and you wouldn't get the same effect. Meguiar's makes it's QD's for use on it's waxes (mostly carnaubas) whereas Zaino's QD is for a synthetic polymer.... The Zaino Z6 QD contains like 7 optical enhancers and has a static repellent. It functions the same as most other QD products but works much better IMO...

Meguiar's makes a pro line QD called Final Inspection, which is not too bad for a local product, and they also make a product called "Quik Detailer" in the maroon bottle that isn't as good or effective. Mother's makes a QD called Showtime that's pretty good too, and theirs is for use on carnauba waxes. If I had to choose my favorit local QDs it would be Mother's Showtime for use on carnaua wax and DuraGloss FCS on synthetic products.... The DG is pretty darn good too....
