Squeeky doors
Re: Squeeky doors
I've always use white lithium grease in a spray can, but whatever you use keep all contact & moving parts of those hinges lubricated, they'll last a lot longer & it will also help somewhat to keep the doors from sagging
Re: Squeeky doors
I've had the best luck with Silicone Spray much better than WD-40, and better lasting power & not as messy as Lithium Grease
Re: Squeeky doors
I had a can of bearing grease that I had used when I worked on my kid's 4 wheeler.
I put on a glove and got a scoop out about the size of the tip of my index finger. Then I rubbed it all around the bushing and pin, which was where the noise was coming from. I really tried to push it in between the bushing and pin.
That was 2 years ago and it hasn't sqeaked since and there's still grease around the bushing.
