Some More Questions About Zaino!!
Okay I got my Zaino kit couple days ago and I just wanna make sure I know what im doin
I got the claybar and the dealer here gave me a sample of Z7 so I can use it for the lube for the clay bar. So do I mix Z7 in like a bottle of water and spray it on the car. When the car is wet just rub the clay bar back and forth on the paint????
Also the ZFX bottles.
I want to do 3 coats of Z2 so do you think I need the whole 2 ounces??

Sounds good, you'll really love the Zaino!
For the clay lube, you have two choices. Either mix the Z7 in a clean spray bottle and spray the surface as you're claying, OR use the Z7 in a wash bucket with your mitt. I like to use the bucket/mitt method personally when doing the whole car. The spray bottle works good when claying a small section only, I don't like spraying the whole car. Anyway, soap up a panel with the mitt, clay it, rinse, and dry. Rub the clay back and forth or side to side, and NEVER let the surface dry out that you're claying.
You can easily get 3 coats of ZFX/Z2 with HALF of the ZFX bottle filled if you spread it thin. I can usually get 5 to 6 coats out of the full 2 ounce bottle, so that's a waste unless you want to do another car too...up to you...
Good Luck!
