Re: Smoked Tail lights

They have a little orange peel effect so im going to either redo them or just run non-tinted taillights.

Re: Smoked Tail lights

I was experimenting tonight with a set of spare taillights i have and some nightshades, and it turned out really well. Two light coats of nightshades and 3 coats of clear, and it looks nice and smoked, yet still nice and glossy. It has some good orange peel goin on, but i think ill be able to get that out with some good polishing compound. When im all done ill take some pics of them and let ya see em!

Re: Smoked Tail lights

i prefer the removable covers. for the same reasons as above, the spray comes out orange peely. the covers can also be taken off with ease in case of a fix-it ticket.
