Post Small Dent, how do I get rid of it???

I have a dent about the size of a baseball cap(w/o the bill) in my right front fender. I want to know how I can get it out and get the paint looking fairly normal for now, until I can get the whole car painted sometime next year. Thanks

Will

I think the front fenders on a 86 are metal (unlike the current F bodies) and it sounds like the dent is much much too big for dentmasters or any paintless dent removers to help, so I would leave it and put on a new quarter panel when you get it all painted.

hahaha, small dent, size of baseball cap, muhahahah!!! THats funny man, thats like the biggest dent I've ever seen!!

As for the "small" dent, i would definetly get a new quarter panel, there is really no way to pull it out except with a slide hammer, then you'll have to fix the hole in it, and it still won't look right.

first why in the world are you guys calling a fender a quarter panel. am i an idiot and every person ive ever met an idiot? just pull the inner fender out and get a hammer. put a block of wood with a towel under it against the outside...hit where the wood is and move around till its almost out...it will not be perfect but a lot better than your SMALL dent.

Ya, I was thinking the same thing. About the fender/quarter panel thing. Anyhow, I had planned on doing that, but didn't know if anyone had a better way to do that. Thats the way I had planned on getting it out. And I realize it isn't so small, but I have seen alot worse out here, and its not deep, so its relatively small.
