should I use NOXON on my wheels?

I did some searching and couldnt find an answer.

I have the Factory 5 spoke painted silver 16x8 wheels.

My new front brakes are trashing my wheels! I'm planing on taking them off tomorrow (rotating the tires) and waxing the wheels up.

The NOXON says good for metal, I bought it when we had our old boat with alot of chrome, I'm just concerned about whatever clear coat is left on my wheels, or it runing my wheels and they attract even more brake dust.

Another option is use the same stuff I did the car with, KIT wax, I figured I'd do 2-3 coats on each.

While I'm on the wheels, I normally clean between the spokes inside as much as I can reach with a sponge when I wash the car, but I have this stuff behind the spokes that feels all bumpy, simple green and rough brush dont work. Any ideal's? also how do I go about cleaning the brake caliper, mine are really dirty!

I used the Noxon today, it's awsome, Took the wheels off, cleaned behind them, all the spokes, after two coats of the Noxon and the Tire black they look great!

The brake dust seems to be minimal, hopefuly they stay nice
