Question Should I get the car Buffed?

Is $50-$60 a good price for getting my car fully buffed? This guy in the detail dept at my job said he'd charge me this. I don't know if it's worth it or if the wax jobs that I do on my car is sufficient enough.

TIA,
daniel

The price is good, just make sure the person doing the work is good or your car can look worse after it has been done.

I would rather do it myself rather then have someone else do it but that's just me. The $150. or so spent on a nice buffer has really paid for itself.

Well, I didn't end up getting it done by him. I ended up just washing it and throwing some of my race glaze on it.

Siggy, did you learn how to buff cars on your own? I've heard it is easy, but people also say one can easily screw things up.

I've had my car buffed twice since i ordered it from the factory, and both times it looked worse. Both shops were recommended to me by friends. From now on i will only follow the advise of people on this board. Fingers
