Should I dillute Z6?

I was reading over the zaino site yesterday and noticed that Sal warns the Z6 as being super concentrated. And he claims to help make the product easier to use, to just use a 1:1 mix of zaino to water. I'm just wondering if that's what you guys on the boards are doing? I have used my Z6 to do a total 6 coats on my Impala SS now, and I have used about 1/3 the Z6 bottle. I try to use it sparingly but it seems difficult. So i'm thinking I should possibly dillute it with water. What are your thoughts?

I've never bothered. I just use a VERY light mist. I go through the bottles pretty d@mn quick anyways because I wash so often.

Hmmm... I have never diluted Z6...

To be honest, I dont remember ever reading that 1:1 trick...

I never really had a problem with Z6 "as is" though...

If you do dilute Z-6 use distilled water, usually people do this for car shows when they are Z-6-ing their cars in the sun or on a hot car.

Exactly hcvone! I have a black car that gets really hot as soon as the sun touches it lol. So use distilled water huh? I will give it a try!

The distilled water will slow the drying down on a hot car so you will not get streaks.

I also dilute with distilled water. It won't leave behind any mineral/salt deposits like regular tap water does.

It shines great like straight Z-6 but makes it last a lot longer!
