what do you recommend for cleaning the carpet and cloth? i need to clean a few cars that want the carpet shampooed. they have an old smell to them so i need something to take the old scent out and give it a fresh or clean scent. i have been thinking a foam cleaner might work. i also would like to use this for stains if possible.

 

The more you clean it the more it wears out. I wouldnt use a carpet cleane, except maybe a spot removed for any tough spots. I always used some pinesol deluted in a water.

 

I bought a Bissell Little Mean Green Machine Pro Heat for $29.99 at the Bissell outlet store. It works great with for shampooing the carpet and cloth seats. For spot cleaning I use either Oxiclean and a toothbrush, or the Eureka steam buddy I got at Target. Blood, oil, grease, pop, coffee, etc. . . . have all come out using a combination of everything above

 

Yep, had mine for 6 years now, I love it for cleaning cars out.
