Angry Sap Arrggh

I park on the side of the street under a lot of trees, but I never knew I could get so much sap on my car. I usually spot clean it off with some alchohol. But I waxed my car with Liquid Glass yesterday and when I buffed it off I saw allllllll these tiny sap spots that i never knew where there! Is there any car wash cleaner or spray on (that wont hurt my paint) that will allow me to get off all these dots of sap?

Try a quality clay bar, such as Zaino, Mother's, or Clay Magic. Don't use Meguiar's as it is a pos.

Yes, a clay bar is your best/safest bet.

Red face

I just gave my fiance's car (Navy Blue 2001 Monte SS) a complete Zaino job...

As I was doing the prep work (Dawn wash & Claying) I noticed that she has a TON of stone chips (the car has 40,000 miles already and is only 13 months old!) and also has what look to be nasty sap stains on the hood.... one big one, and 5 -7 smaller ones.

I tried everything to get them off, (clay included) but it looks like they actually worked their way into the paint and ate away at the paint.

I am assuming my only recourse is to use an abraisive like the 3M stuff...

Anyway, the rest of the car looks great... I got two coats of ZFX/Z5 and Z6 on it...

My neighbor actually asked me what I use after I had the 2nd coat on... got into a 20 minutes Zaino conversation!
