Factory paint jobs can have alot of "orange peel" in them. I would think if you didn't go the cheap route you could probably get a paint job far better than a factory spray.

Hopefully any shop you go to will put it in the oven. I know a few crappy ones that leave cars out overnight to dry, but I wouldn't go those places.

Ok, thanks guys. If someon is paying 3k or more for a paintjob I sure as hell would hope it is just as good if not better than factory!

orange peal is little ripples in the paint.
a paint booth or as u guys put it an oven only makes the paint cure faster it doesnt make it stick to the parts beter. the prep process to the car is whats inportant and when being painted. the car has to be spotless nothing on it dust all rust has to be removed missing a little spot will come back and bite u later. also when painting u need a perfect mix of humitity and tempeture the paint booth controls these things
