Removing paint from my paint...

I had my car moved into a garage where it was scraped against the wall and some white paint scratched off onto my rear fender. Looks terrible. I am wondering the best way to remove it? I was going to buy one of those cheapo buffers from vatozone and get some cutting compound and polishing compound and go to town. This a good idea? I'm afraid to wetsand it myself if that's needed.

Try a clay bar before using power equipment. Clay Magic works good, as does Mother's.

if you use a scratch remover and a cloth or even a microfiber cloth and put some elbow grease into you can get it off, just depends how deep it is

if you get a high speed buffer you can get it off no problem as long as the scratch is only on the surface

a little bit of paint thinner on a rag will work perfect
