reapplying zaino soon...

I zaino'ed my car about 2 months ago, and I want to add more....do I need to go with claybar, dawn soap, etc, or can I just do ZFX then Z5 a bunch of times?

You don't have to go through the initial prep again. If you find some rough spots, you might go over them with the clay.

Dawn is never used after the first application of Zaino, just wash and put on more Z-5 if you like.

Not trying to steer this thread in a different direction, but...what exactly is Zaino? I've heard everyone talk about it and never bothered to ask. Is it a wax? or a polish? I'm really interested because everyone I have seen who has used Zaino say that they are in love with it.

Polymer polish. No abrasives, so it can't harm your paint. Rather, it bonds with it and seemingly lasts until you get bored and put on another coat.

It's not a real "polish", it's a sealant. Sal calls it a polish because it doesn't have the properties of a carnauba wax. When I told my shop teacher about it who also does body work, he looked at me funny and said "polish? polishes just make things shiny, not protect "
