Hey everyone, I did a search with no results to this question. When you apply Zaino with ZFX (I got the kit), do you first apply the Z-5 a few layers, then add Z-2 in layers. The instructions say use Z-2 *OR* Z-5 with the Z-5 as the ticket for the best swirl free finish. You are supposed to use both, with the Z-5 first correct? or is it one or the other. Thanks all!

 

All Zaino products are completely interchangeable. You can use Z5 then Z2 Pro or vice versa. Sal Zaino recommends ending with Z2 Pro because of its slightly higher optics.

 

Thanks! So does the new swirl remover needs to be put on first? It would be nice if it could go on whenever I get it. Instead of stripping the Zaino off and doing it again.

 

If you are referring to Z-PC Fusion, yes, it needs to be used first. It is a true polish with mild abrasives and will remove any wax/sealant on the paint.
