Question Question regarding California Car Duster?

I was over to Buffalo yesterday and bought the "Original California Car Duster" at a Target. The 'yarn' on it is grey. Is this one any different from the ones you people use? I thought they were red.

Is there a difference?

Jeff

If the handle is plastic, that is the cheaper retail verison, actually the original version (no matter what the lable says) has a wood handle and a much bigger mop head.

I have the Cal duster master catalog at home with the different part numbers for the cheaper retail version and the heaver version.

The color of the strands does not matter.

Dammit, I've been had! I thought I was buying the real thing! Oh well, I have red strands and it still does the job very nicely for me, and it actually works.

You did buy the "real" thing just the cheater version. They work equally well.

Yes, both work, the bigger one lasts longer and removes more dust with one swipe.
