Question Question about Zaino...

Ok, I have a regular paintjob... so the kind I would use is Z-3 then... does it give the same shine as Z-2? Or can I just use Z-2 on my regular paint? Because I want to maintain the really wet look and from the website, it apears that only Z-2 provides this. And also Z-5 is only mentioned to work well with Z-2... I just found out that my paintjob doesnt have a layer of clearcoat, so Im kinda bummed. Thanks for your help.

I believe Z3 is basically Z2 with some additives that will help prevent oxidation on single stage paints. The shine should be similar to Z2...

About Z5, it will work with single stage (Regular) and clear coat finishes, says so on the bottle. So, you can use Z3 and Z5 on your paint...

You can get every bit as good a shine with Z3 and Z5 as you would using Z2/Z5...go for it!

Your '94 should have clear coat paint. Not sure about the other car.

If factory paint, you should have clear on the 94 and regular single stage on the 86

yea, I know the factory job had clearcoat, but I just recently got it repainted when I got my SS hood & spoiler. I thought the job I got came with a couple layers of clear, but I called today and they said that it doesnt, and it will cost me $200 for them to layer it with clear... I dont have that cash right now, but I want to get my paint protected & keep the freshly painted wet gloss look that it has now(as you can see in the pics in the sig).

I know this is a bit off subject but how long can I wait to put on a layer of clearcoat and is that even a good deal? Thanks.
