Question about area around headlights
Question about area around headlights
Could some of the experts on the board please help me with a problem? The area around the headlights of 1993 to 1997 model Camaros have a naturally dull black finish. What is the best way to address this area when it comes to detailing. Do you Zaino like the rest of the car or deal with it another way? Also I have a small "scuff" on the dull black in this area that will need to be dealt with before I do anything. What is the best way to fix this problem. The scuff or mark is pretty deep and may not completely disappear but I'm sure it can be improved dramaticly if not completely. Thanks for your help with this detailing question. It is so wonderful to have the Zaino and detailing experts on the board who are real resources for all us enthusiasts.
Well you could Zanio Z2/Z5, which is what I would do or use Zanio Z16 tire gloss, since it is flat plastic, which ever you prefer. As for the scuff, not sure. I'm sure some others may have an idea though.
I got my car used back in 96 with 8000mi, and my headlight buckets and mirrors were clear coated, I've notticed that most aren't. They clean up as easy as the rest of the car with very little effort(ocassionally polish but what do you expect on black) And honestly i don't know why they didn't come like that from the factory. It looks so much better IMO. check it out members.cardomain.com/goodgrief
