Are you saying you use newspaper instead of rags to clean your windows??

I just cleaned an enormous number of water spots off all my windows. I put some vinegar into a spray bottle and sprayed the windows then let it work a few minutes. I just wiped them off with paper towels and the spots were gone. This worked for big spots on the paint too.
