Pro detailers......interior detail question

When I was younger, one of my older cousins used to have a GMC Sonoma that he kept immaculate on the inside and always smelled sooo clean. If I had to pin down the "clean scent" i would go with a powdery type of scent, maybe baby powder?

Anyways, when I asked him how he kept it smell so good he said he used a dry cleaning product but didnt go any further than that and i havent had much contact with him in the past few years.

I recently got some baby powder scent interior air freshener from Lanes and it works well, but it is nowhere near the scent that I remember.

This sounds weird, but I remember it smelling "dry" and the lanes scent smells "wet".

Sooooo.....anyone have ANY idea of what he may have used???

I don't know what he used, but if you are looking for some dry cleaning stuff, check the laundry products aisle at your local grocery.

My brother and I detail on the side, and most of the customers like a little smell of cleaner, or leather conditioner because to some people that means a job well done. Sorry, can't help you with the smell there.
