polish Plenum question

Hi!

Im going to polish my plenum after looking at some articles about it.

I wanna know if my sander is the right one to use, I have a rotating sander like this one
http://www.bosch-pt.com/se/hw/produc...g/pex420ae.jpg
But mine is an older one.

Should I use one of those?

I assume you are talking about a LT1 intake? If so that polisher looks way too big to get into the cracks and crevices.

Here is mine:

My intake is coated with POR 20 but the throttle body and just about everything else is polished.

Seems like I recall polishing the throttle body was 45.00 and I bought the new water pump already polished from them for about 325.
