Question Pink Marks on White Top???

Hi All,

I've got some strange pink stripes coming through my white top where the supports run accross it. Has anyone heard of this?? I could probably take pics to show you, but it is a very strange thing. Car is kept covered, but not heated/cooled.

Any help would be appreciated.

Z~

Could it be rust?

Maybe where dust settles when the top is down and then rusts when exposed?

How often do you wash the top?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I have only had the top down a few times, and it was only for a short time. It's really more like a pink color than a rust color, but maybe it could be something like that.

I wash the top with the car each time. I haven't treated the top, but this almost seems like it is from the inside. I may have to take it to my dealer to see what the deal is with it. The car has very few miles on it and is always covered with a sheet when not being driven.

Thanks Again
