Painting Mirror...how to?

Hey guys,

I broke off my passenger side mirror a few weeks ago and I picked up another one, but the paint doesn't match my other mirror...it's flat black and not gloss, so I want to pain it...

I want to paint it myself, so what do I need to do?

What kinda prep...sand paper, primer, etc?

Can I paint with an over the counter spray can automotive paint and have it look ok?

How many coats of the gloss black?
How long in between coats?
How many coats of clear?

Any suggestions on what products to use would be great too.

Thanks for any help.

Eric

That one is fine...I just want this one to look similar. It doesn't need to look professional since the car is getting painted within the next year or so, I just want to have a passenger mirror back on there and I don't want it to look crappy like it does now.
