paint spots removal??

hi guys took the car to the garage the other day and they were painting the roof of the place. needless to say, the whole half of the car is FULL of little white paint spots i used bug and tar remover, with no avail. so i started scraping off all the spots with my nail, careful not to scratch the car. theres gotta be a better way to do it. i was going at it for about 2 hours, and am only half done. this had happened once before with another one of my cars, but i forgot how i removed all this s**t. i think i had used the GM tar remover, but not sure (although i will pick up a bottle tommorrow and try it). i am not going back to that place to complain and have them do it, cause ive been through too much crap this week (broken rear, fixed, then raced and hit a curb ). anyway, any ideas on how to get this s**t off?? thank you very much

You need to use a clay bar, over spray is best removed with clay. I would not scrape with my nail or use any kind of chemical remover.

Use lacquer thinner on a rag. Trust me, it will work well but you'll have to polish the spots that you rubbed.
