The Zaino kit is a perfect start for anyone who wants the complete Zaino care package. It contains all the essential items that make Zaino work great as a system of products.

How long will it last? For an average user who might apply a coat every month or so, the polishes could last 1 to 2 years. Considering you can get anywhere from 20-50 coats per bottle, depending on your surface area and how thin you apply it, 1 bottle of polish would last you 2 years if you applied 1 coat every month. If you want the best possible shine and protection, apply as many coats as you like really, since Zaino layers. For those of us that like to do 3 coats with ZFX at a time, the polishes don't last as long, maybe 6 months to a year. Of course, the most used Zaino products are probably the Z7 wash and Z6 detail spray, but I usually get about 4-6 months out of 1 bottle of each of those myself since they are used every week or two.

Zaino products are very economical as they are very very concentrated. The thinner you apply the polishes the better. I like to add 2 capfuls of Z7 for every wash, and when using Z6, just lightly spray the area and wipe clean.

When doing multiple coats, mix up enough polish and ZFX to do 3 coats. However, as long as the first 2 coats are with the ZFX, you can apply the third without ZFX, but you'll have to wait for it to cure before you can apply any more. The ZFX gives the 0 curing time. Don't apply more than 3 coats in a 24 hour period.

Yes, you will need to use the ZFX additive if you plan to do multiple coats in one day. Basically, I just mix up enough ZFX-enabled polish (usually 1 ounce) to do 2 or 3 coats so that none is wasted.

If you only want to do 1 coat, it's up to you, really, if you want to use ZFX or not. For your very first coat of Zaino, you must use ZFX or Z1. After that, it's up to you whether you want to use ZFX for every coat thereafter. But, if you want to do multiple coats, then you have to use ZFX.

I personally use ZFX with every coat of polish, even if I'm just doing 1 quick coat. The ZFX makes Zaino so much easier to use and creates a harder (more durable), glossier finish than without it. So, I use it for every coat.
