Over spray
Over spray
I have about 7 or 8 coats of z-5 with zfx on my car right now (this is after i used a clay bar. you know the whole 9). But i drive it to school park in the a covered parking structure and then drive it home a total of like 40 miles to its home in the garage. I havent put a coat of wax on in probably 2 months due to homework and work. I washed it this weekend and noticed some overspray (Stupid construction at school) on my baby. what should i do to get it off? I was thinking clay bar it and then put some z-5 and zfx. If i did would the clay bar take off all the previous layers of wax or are they allready gone? Or will a a coat of z-5 take the over spray off?
Thanks

Yup, try the clay bar first. Use plenty of lube, you can't really use too much if you use a good quality clay bar. The clay may remove a very small amount of Zaino, but my biggest concern after claying is that there are now tiny unprotected "holes" in the paint where the clay picked up the dirt and contamination. Using Zaino right after claying will fill in all the unprotected areas and make a more even surface of protection. So, yea, just use some ZFX after you clay and you're all set!
