hi, my black 2010 2lt/rs, bought from dealership in late april, has little paint chip dings on the hood.....ALREADY. she hasnt gone through any car washes. frankly, im quite miffed about it. i drive it to work and do errands, she has 1100 miles. my brother says the paints/clearcoats they are using these days are "eco friendy" thus....not as durable as in the old days... freakin tree huggers......he also suggested i take it back to the dealership and jump up and down on somebodys head about it. what do you guys think? what would the dealership do? (oh, im a girl (50yo girl)....& crazy about my cars)....no kids, gaggle of pound cats, and a hot camaro!!!! thanks, corinne

 

I would think that would be covered by the warranty, especially since so few miles have been put on the car. Take it back to the dealership as soon as possible and complain that it looks like some sort of manufacturing defect.

You could also contact Chevrolet's customer service via gm.com and call them and tell them about it and see what they say to do. They might send you something to give the dealership to authorize repainting or something.
