Need Help Removing 3m Plastic Emblem and Trim Adhesive On Dash

One of my friends (honestly) decided to mount the Corvette flag logo, the same one on the front and rear of the car, on his dash. He placed it on the passenger side of the dash, right above the CORVETTE lettering. Anyway, I've talked him into removing it. It came off, but the mentioned adhesive is still left on the dash. What would you all suggest to get it off? I've tried Goo-B-Gone and alcohol with no luck. Thanks!!!

Is this on a vinyl interior piece? Try soaking a paper towel with Goo-Gone and taping it over the area for a few hours to soak. I'd also recommend the same trick with WD40 but I don't know if that would stain an interior panel (it works great on painted parts).

It is on the dash part--more of a plastic than anything. Would that change matters?

I don't think WD40/paper towel trick would hurt. The fumes will destroy the adhesive and allow you to remove it easily. Just make sure the car is well ventilated unless you want WD40-scented air freshener.
