If you've never attempted wet sanding or hard buffing, I'd highly recommend you pay a visit to a reputable detailer or body shop in your area. It's way too easy to ruin or scour a finish with sanding without the right tools and techniques. If you try it yourself, I'd try to find a beater or a junk panel to practice on first, or you'll end up with a mess.
This is basically what it involves: http://www.goodspeedmotoring.com/?page=color_sanding

its exactly as described.when you look at the panel and the paint has the texture of an orange. its easily cured with wetsanding it then buffing it .. but you have to be care full when trying to smooth it out cause you can easily blow thru the clear coat..
