Question Need answer (wash mit?)

I always read here only to use 100% cotton viking mit to wash your car. How about one of those wool mits. Those things are soooo soft and smooth. I have a onyx black car so I don't want to hurt it. Again those mits are sooo soft I don't see how it could scratch???????

100% spun polyester is soft to the touch, but death on black cars, you will have to be the judge some of those wool mits are fake, not real wool.

I use some cotton toweling or a cotton wash mit.
