Post Meguiar's vs Zaino for my SS?

I'm a new Camaro SS owner. Mequiars is very popular and Zaino is not. Meguiar's is found at my local Pep Boys and Zaino you have to order and wait for it to arrive(US mail is slow). What if you don't like it? Can you return it if your not satisfied? Will Zaino pay the shipping if you return it? I can't decide which is the better wax for my SS. Which is better, Meguiar's or Zaino? Which is more expensive? Where can I buy Zaino cheap or at wholesale?

I appreciate any and all feedback!

It usually takes a week for you to receive your Zaino order by mail. Also, there are a lot of distributors around the country. If you call Sal, he'll be able to tell you where one is, so you can possibly have Zaino same day.

If you dont like it, I'm pretty sure you can return it. As for the shipping, I dont know. I havent had to return any of mine. I love this stuff. As for what is better, thats personal opinion. My opinion is that Zaino is better is almost every category. The first time you prep and Zaino your car, it will take a while, but its well worth it. If you want the best shine possible, go with the Zaino.

Zaino is more expensive initially, but in the long run, you'll use less and less, and it will last longer and longer. It evens out over time.

In conclusion, if you are willing to spend a little more up front and spend a little more time, get the Zaino. You wont regret it. If you want an initial easy application and your "typical" shine and protection, get Meguairs.

On every message board poll I've seen on who uses what, Zaino had taken over 50% of the votes all by itself. All the rest added together made up the less than 50%. There is a reason. Both with give you a shine, but Zaino will last and protect far better than anything else I've ever tried in over 30 years.

Zaino not popular, well that sure is a new one, don't think I have heard that in 5 years of message board moderation.

Where are you located? you might have a distributor on your street but will will not know as you did not list your location.

Kevin, My "not popular" quote means that when I go to my local Pep Boys, Discount Auto Parts or Auto Zone and I ask "You got Zaino?" They look at me and say "what the hell is that?" and "never heard of it, is it a soft drink?"

Zaino is not mass marketed. It is not sold in auto parts stores or discount stores. Zaino is a system, and parts and discount store personnel will not have time to learn how to use it, much less explain how it is to be used. Sal does not want Zaino to be sold in outlets that have no clue as to what it is or how it is to be used. That's why there is a dealer network, as dealers know how to use it, and how to teach the newbie the proper techniques of Zaino use.

I went to AutoZone not long ago and asked the guy who worked there is they had an DexCool in stock, he said what the hell is Dexcool, so that tells you how much AutoZone workers know. (BTW, I said, well every GM car since 1996 has come from the factory filled with Dexcool coolant, he said "OH!")

If you look around AutoZone, 2/3 of what they have is ricer junk anyway, it is getting really silly with the glow in the dark shifter handles and light up exhaust tips.

It only seems that way because a vast majority of the folks prefer Zaino.

Besides, he was asking for input, why wouldn't we give it to him.

Didnt mean it in a bad way. But it dosent take a genius to look through the forum and see what is the predominate polish of choice. I have nothing against any wax, well maybe a few. But never one I havent used yet.

It's a no brainer, I gave Zaino a try after using meguires and it was much much better.

I dunno, I just don't feel that stuff you can buy in a store like that is so great.
