Meguiars Microwipe Polishing Cloths

I bought a Meguiars Polishing cloth because it says its the safest thing to use preventing swirl marks etc etc. Anyway, I wanted to use it on my Clear plastic Drum kit, This drum kit is vintage and worth a bit of cash, I dont want to swirl the plastic on the drums.

The towel has a tag and it says "85% Polyester and 15% Polyamide" ..

I'm not sure if I want to test this towel out on my car, or my drums.

Can anyone help?

It is a common man made micro fiber towel, I can tell by the content, Polyamide is a form of nylon. Will it scratch, might, might not, you will just have to try to find out....

Do a small spot first, or get some other piece of clear plastic/lexan and try it on that first.

If it works, lemmie know. The face on my iPod could use a touchup.
