long term storage
long term storage
i need to store my z-28 for about 3 years.i would like to know what would be the best way to do this.the car will be driven on occasion when we come back stateside 2 or 3 times a year,so the car wont be completely dormant for three years.any advice would be great.
I store mine for 9 months a year.
I give the tires a bit more preasure, put some fuel stabilizer in a full tank of gas, plug in my automatic battery trickle charger and last but not least add a couple of boxes of baking soda inside the car to snuff any lingering odors.
Throw a car cover on it and come back for it in 9 months.
Some people like to get the car up on jack so as to take the weight off the suspension and tires. This wouldn't likely work in your situation because you'll be back to drive it every 4 or 5 months. Pain the the Crack.
Good Luck with it.
