Light scratches/swirls...from the towel?
Light scratches/swirls...from the towel?
I have a black Z and I have put on about seven coats of z-5. WHen not in direct sunlight shine is very impressive, but in direct sunlight I can see light scratches/swirls and it looks pretty bad. I am using Zaino applicators,I have follwed their directions and I am using 100% cotton towels from autozone. Are they too deep to for z-5 to fill or are the towels the culprit?
from what i know in Direct sunlight on a black car you should be able to see swirls no matter what. On my car i old see swirls form where the sign reflection is on it and then you cant really see em at all anywere else unless your really looking hard for em. Just depends on how the light hits it.
But i know when ever my car is in the garage and the bulb like is shinning on it i cant see any swirl marks and nothing but smooth paint

Also, the www.dftowel.com is great, I use and sell those.
That was definitely my fualt. I used a"large 100% cotton bath towel" and figured a towel was a towel so I never went to the site.
Should I use a swirl remover or will z-5 ( with the good towels) fill them in?
Thanks.

But, anyway, just get yourself some good Supima cotton towels from Bed, Bath, and Beyond or perferrably to me the www.dftowel.com and keep on using the Z-5 with plenty of Z-6 as the Z-6 fills scratches and swirls like crazy also....

They are the same size and look exactly like a regular bath towel...I'm pretty sure I got them from autozone.
Thanks for the help.I'll order a few of the Supimas from you this week.

I have a "100% cotton" washing mitt. Could that be putting scratches in as well? Should I buy a third towel for washing or is that alittle overkill?
Thanks again.

I just wash with the mit, and dry with The Absorber, no scratches for me...
