Kevin, I am running low on Z7 and have a new bottle of Mcguires Quick Detailer.Can I use this to wet my applicater for Z5 application?Also If I use this as a substitute for Z7 between Polishes will I harm my Zaino that is on my Firebird now.....Thanks...Mark

 

You are running low on Z-7 car wash or Z-6 enhancer spray??

I wouldn't use the Mequiars Detailer on the Zaino. Moisten the pad with distilled water if you don't have any Z-6 enhancer spray.

If you are running low of the Z-6, mix it 50/50 with distilled water, it will make it go further while you are waiting to get your next order in.

If it is the Z-7 car wash you are running out of, buy a car soap that has NO additives, strippers, rinse free agents, wax or any other kind of additive in it, just plain old car wash.

 

Sorry its the Z6 Gloss enhancer that Im running low on. Ive got 21 coats on it now and am also running low on Z5.Im hoping to order a Bottle of Z5 and Z6 In the spring. I bet I get 25 coats out of 1 bottle of Z5. How can anyone say this Zaino is expensive?.....Well thanks for the help I got to go take the Z5 off....Mark

 

Go ahead and order some extra Z-6 and a Z-5 and whatever else you need, it won't go bad or anything. Just store it inside. I use alot of Z-6 during the winter months, at least when it is above 30 degrees.
