I'm an idiot!! See inside for details!
Hey guys I was just moving my new tires out to the garage(just came via UPS from tire rack).......anyways I had to clear off my workbench and I notice that I FORGOT to bring the zaino into my room to prevent it from freezing. Has this ruined the zaino or will it be just as effective after "defrosting"? I had some ZFX, Z3, the gloss (z15?), the wash and the leather cleaner. It's still out there now I figured any damage has already been done. Thanks!
There is no Z-15, is it the Gloss Enhancer Z-6 or the Tire Gloss Z-16? Your leather conditioner Z-10 and the Tire Gloss Z-16 do not take freezing well, they will probably be no good, but bring them all in and let them sit overnight, shake them up and as long as they mix well they should be alright to use, but the Z-10 and Z-16 maybe a different story, it all depends on how solid they froze.
I store all of my important detailing supplies inside. I use two duffle bags for most of the waxes, polishes, leather products, etc... One bag is completely full of Zaino stuff, the other is full of more Zaino stuff and many many more waxes, sealants, cleaners, polishes, etc.... This keeps everything at room temp and ready to roll when the time comes. Plus it's very easy to transport and sort supplies in a couple bags. I used to have a garage full of Meguiar's stuff a few years ago too, but most of it is gone now.
I also store all of my "good" detailing towels in a snap lid container to prevent them from collecting dust/dirt.
Anyhow, if the Zaino freezes, shake it up when it completely thaws and see if it looks OK. It's not good for Zaino to freeze, just depends on how frozen and for how long. If it looks, sounds, or applies, anything other than normal, it's time to reorder.
