I'm an Idiot
I'm an Idiot
Ok here is the story. I was getting ready for the Super Chevy show so I painted my wheel wells and some under car touch ups. Well the cloud of overspray settled on the car on top of the the ZAINO wax.
Is there an easy way to get the overspray off with out stripping the wax and everything else off the car or do I need clay bar and start over again.

Re: I'm an Idiot
Claybar should take it off if you already have Zaino down on the paint...
If the overspray mist is light enough, even a spray down with Z6 might do it... but the claybar should definately get it.

yeah, I worked at a detail shop. We had a contractor who used a spray gun to paint a building on a very windy day. This cloud of paint blew all over a parking lot full of cars. We had to get the overspray off of 75 cars, and we used a claybar for the paint and windows. If there is paint on your rubber moulding, Goof Off will get it off. Then you'll have to put your 15 coats of Zano back on, sorry.

Like the time I went to replace my opti and once I got it all torn down I realized it was just the harness.

The first time I changed the oil in my car(plug is on the side of the pan), I didn't think it would shoot out of there that far or fast. It shot over the pan, all over the driveway and all on me
