Lightbulb I have to give 3M's swirl remover some credit....

I was pulling my Z out of the garage this morning, and well I was a bit closer to the edge of the door opening than I thought, a rubbed it a bit. I was pissed, pulling it right back into the garage, jumped out to see how much damage was done to my car (screw the house ) well at first I didn't see much, then I looked right below the gas tank fill door, there was a white paint spot about 3 inches long, 2 inches high right under the door.

soooooo, I knew I needed something abrasive to get that **** off, the only thing I had was my dreaded bottle of 3M, the same crap that left a huge swirl mark on my roof before, so I hated it lol. I decided a swirl is better than white paint on my mystic teal car, so I rubbed some 3M on it. after about 5 applications, all the white was gone all thats left now is a small scratch in the clear coat, which I'm sure a few coats of Z5 will take care of.

Just wanted to give 3M the credit its due

BTW, my garage door opening got the worst of it, a small piece of the corner wood came off Camaro 1, House 0

yeah, that stuff works good. I used it when i was putting a big box in the back seat and rubbed it against the side of the car by accident. Left i long scratch in the clear but the 3m got like 80% of it out, couldn't even tell it was there.

Question, how did the swirl remover give u swirls on the roof??? I have some fine scratches all over mine and was thinking about 3ming the whole roof....

I have no idea, but after using this stuff on my black hardtop, I had a big swirl mark right where I used it. I used it on a few very small, finger tip sized scratches on the roof too, and those also look like they have that swirl mark scratch look on it. I don't know
