I have a 95 formula that the paint is ok but on the top is now coming off and the hood and front facia is all chiped up. I was looking at getting it painted with a ws6 hood. Does anyone have any ideas about what it would cost?

I had my 94 camaro repainted. I had a 5" rear spolier add on to my stock spoiler and had the racing strips painted on the hood and spoiler. The total deal cost $2400. I was very pleased and happy with the paint job. I got many compliments on the work that was done.

 

How much to paint? Paint the ENTIRE car. As far as cost, how much do you want to spend? I've seen gorgeous $10,000 paint jobs, and acceptable $2500 jobs. Probably somewhere inbetween. You get what you pay for. How much do you want to pay?

 

price depends a lot of who you have do the work, and what you're having done. Are you changing the color? if so, you gonna have them paint the door jambs, engine compartment, etc. If not, are you going to just drop it off and say paint it, or are you going to remove things like trim and prep it, or have them do everything. Just a solid color? stripes/flames? Color changing? Metallic colors? etc.

There really are a lot of variables. I paid almost 7k for the paint job on my 442, not including body work, including color sanding, wet sanding, etc. Pics are in sig.

 

I am looking at just a good paint nothing spectacular just like what a stock paint is. Thanks guys i kinda know what im looking at.
