best vinyl/rubber protector?

Ok I used some Son of a Gun on all my rubber/plastic trim on my car and on the interior as well and it's left blotchy looking places on the door seals (outside) and on the glove box. Never seen it do that before but anyway, since I don't keep up with the times appearance-wise, can someone tell me the best protector WITHOUT the ghetto pimp-my-ride shine? I want protection and a restored deep black. I have some spray silicone that'll do it on the outside but it isn't suitable for the inside.

Thanks.

303, Zaino Z16, Meguiar's Natural Shine, Adam's VRT, Poorboy's Natural Look, Poorboy's Trim Restore, etc.

Clean the areas with a diluted all purpose cleaner, then dress with a sponge or foam applicator.

This topic gets covered on seemingly a bi-weekly basis... do a search and find a wealth of opinions, though I primarily agree with ZaneO. 303 is my fave, personally, though.

I like meguiars natural shine for the inside. For the outside and weatherstripping I like Meguiars professionsl rubber treatment.

If you get blothcy spots, just go over them with a dry towel. I think that's pretty common.

Re: best vinyl/rubber protector?

i always go over everything with a dry towel just b/c i don't like the greasy residue, but this time it didn't work... i think the spray may have just been bad or something. it's like 5 yrs old i think.

meguiars seems to be highly recommended. does either product you mentioned leave a greasy-like shine?
