Just wondering if anyone has an idea how much it would be to have the front clip of my car repainted...Basically, my friend backed into it a few months ago and the paint is spider cracked real bad and is comming off. I would just want the front clip repainted to match the rest of the car.

 

Take it to a body shop, anything here is just going to a guess aways.

 

250-400 depending on the amount of prep. and the quality of the shop. I have worked in shops that sprayed cars in a "booth" that consisted of a rubber curtain. I have also worked in shops that have $200,000+ booths. The results can be very different and they can be similar. Each shop has produced very good work despite the booth, but they also have done bad work. So when you pick a shop take a look around. See how dusty the shop is, ask the meet the painter, tell the owner/manager that you want and only will accept perfect work. So if you find a shop you like and establish that you want your car to return perfect, it probably will. If you or anyone you know has a shop where they always take their cars, go there. Bodyshops can be really be hit and miss.

 

there's a shop that is very good around here. the insurance companies recomend them as well. when i hit a deer, they charged 150 bucks to paint the hood factory onyx black
