How long does it take for you to clean your car?

I've just spent three hours on my car. I still have to do the Rims, and the Inside. Of course, the car has been sitting his October.

So, how long does it take you to...

Wash your car?
Wax your car?
Clean your rims?
Clean out the trash? (4 secs for me.)
Vacum your car?
Clean your dash?
Anything I left out.

Takes me an hour to wash the car. Two for the wax. And Ill let you know on the rest when i do it tomorrow.

Also, what type of polish does everyone use? I used turtle wax this time. Im not sure if i like it.

Mothers and Meguiers
Interior and all takes about hour and a half
oh and liquid luster to polish my exhaust tips and muffler and A/C condenser and any other metal That needs to be polished
so tack on another 15 mins to that, so hour and 45 minutes.
But when I get bored I'm always walking out to the garage to find something else to clean or polish or paint.Like yesterday I got bored and painted my white(they were really yellow looking) Z-28 anniversary wheels gunmetal gray

Well for the whole spring detail....wash, clay, 3 coats of zaino (Z6 in between each), interior, wheels, and tires it took me about 6 hours or so.......looks damn good though. Just cant wait to get home from college so I can spend a couple of days putting more zaino on

Is a never ending process, mine stays in the garage and covered but I still find it necessary to uncover it and clean it once a week. It's an obsession.

It rerally depends on what my goals are...

A quick washing can take 30-45 minutes... a totally gung-ho detailing session can take all day.... and there are varying degrees in between as well!

re

Once a year I will spend 8-10 hours with 39009, touch-up a few nicks, ZAINO, and more Zaino.

After that first time I usually spend about 2 hours with Zaino car wash and ZFX!!

This describes my habits very well also. Just a (thorough) wash usually takes my about 2 hours. For a full detail, I like to spend all day on the car, and sometimes all night in the garage too! For a quick detail, I can slap on 1 coat of Zaino in about 1-2 hours total. Just depends on what my goals are. True show cars are often prepped for hundreds of hours for that perfect finish. I actually enjoy spending all day and half a night getting the car in more than perfect shape. Of course, I only do this about once a month or so.....
