how to keep painted rims clean

what should i use to clean them? should i wax them before i throw them on..?

Sure, why not wax them? It's paint on the surface.

Wax 'em, and the brake dust will wash right off.

I compounded and polished mine up very good, but the front ones still attract the brake dust! it's not as bad as it has been though, I guess it's the pads.
