Post How to get wrinkles out of ragtop??

I have a 95 Z28 conv & there are a few wrinkles I would like to get out of the conv. top. They are particularly noticable as the top is tan.

I was thinking using an iron or something similar...

Any and all comments appreciated.

I have owned two F-bodys with the tan top. I too have had a few wrinkles, especially after going on vacation in hot climates like Florida.
First avoid driving the car at high speeds with the windows down with the top up. Also use the max setting on AC and avoid using the vent position when driving with the top up. These two things cause the top to balloon and stretch because of higher pressure inside the car.
Do not leave the top down for more than a week if you store it. These wrinkles take longer to come out.
My wrinkles go away after storing my car for the winter when the canvas contracts.

I don't think I would use an iron on it. This really might screw things up even more. I have never tried it but i wonder if you used a hair dryer to heat up the wrinkle and smooth it out by hand. But like I said, never tried it.

Thanks, think I will try the hair dryer & see what happens... they are quite minor, so I think this will work just fine.
