You can try with an old toothbrush,

1. rubbing alcohol
2. lighter fluid
3. some tire dressing
4. or peanut butter (not kidding)

Will lighter fluid remove paint if I decide to take old wax off my fenders? I tried rubbing alcohol and it started taking the paint off.
