Arrow how to get water to stop runnin down back bumper after drying.

How do you get all the water out from between the bumper and the trunk. Everytime i wash ,I dry it with an Absorber and can't keep water from running down the bumper.Don't have a leaf blower.

I had the same problem. But since I have started using an electric leaf blower, this problem has virtually disappeared. Before I just tolerated wiping the bumper down and sliding the Absorber into the nooks and crannies as best as I could until it finally stopped.

Since you do not have a leaf blower, you could take a quick trip around the block and then dry any renegade water leaks when you get home. The only problem with this is your car may attract some road dust, especially on the parts where the water is leaking from. Or you can park your car on an incline if you have one nearby (like a sloped driveway) and let gravity do it's job, then towel up afterwards.

Once you are done drying the car, lift the hatch and sop the water out of the channel.

It really help if you can use a leaf blower but since you don't have one, do you have an air compressor? They work great at getting into all those cracks.

It's a problem that has no solution (other than using a leaf blower). My 87 camaro did the same thing. I was ready for it when I got my 93.

this may sound a little strange, but go to a craft store or a computer store. It's called the Enviro-Duster. Its a can of compressed air. about $5-7 per can. it has a little straw u plug into the end (kinda like a WD-40 can) so you can get in the nooks and cranies. Use it in 5-6 sec bursts, no more. If you use it too long, the can gets really cold and out comes liquid oxygen (about -50 to -100 degrees! Instantly freezes anything on contact. Can be painful if you get enough on skin, not good for paint either) as long as you use it in short bursts, the temp of air will be fine, and it works perfect!

Take a short drive, accelerate fast, get out of the car and dry the bumper. that works for me.
