cut a paint brush in 1/2 to shorten the bristles and scrub at it with that

Change waxes!

Tell me about it, that's so aggrivating! On my last Camaro, I quit using carnauba waxes on it several years ago and changed to Zaino. Ever after a couple of years using Zaino excusively on that car, I was STILL digging out dried white wax residue that I was never able to remove completely. Zaino isn't the only product that doesn't leave dried resiude in the body lines, but that's definitely just another thing I REALLY appreciate about it!

Anyhow, use a little alcohol in the cracks and a soft bristle toothbrush and a cotton towel. The alcohol will dissolve the wax, break it loose and make it easier to clean out. A small paintbrush will work too, like the previous poster mentioned.

I will never use another product that leaves that crappy residue!

I have used the following arsenal back in my Meguiar days;
various old toothbrushes from "soft" to "hard".
cotton swabs with rubbing alcohol.
old credit card on stubborn spots.
my favorite; business cards. They won't scratch the paint, but are thin enough to get into most places with a desire stiffness. You can fold the card if need be.
Then change over to Zaino since it won't leave that white residue at all.
