Post How to clean black plastic strips below windows?

How can I clean this to where they are completley black? Mine are showing all these different lines on them that are almost white and it doesn't look good.

Two options that I use-

Mother's Back to Black

or if they require refinishing-
SEM Trim Black Paint

The dealer has some stuff you can put on them, I cant find my can for the mane of it, but it helps to "replenish" them.
I dont think painting them is the best idea...

White Lithium or weatherstripping stuff...conditions it and should make it look better.
