Vacuum *very* thoroughly. Scrub down all rubber, plastic, vinyl, leather, etc. Then, rent an ozone machine.

If you park it in a garage, leave the windows down so fresh air can get in. That'll help.

Spray the headliner and carpet with some Fabreeze.

Ditto.

While it won't help with any yellowing or staining... it'll get rid of a lot of the stench.

I've found Febreeze to be almost worthless. Glad it works for someone.

Re: Hey need help with a detailing problem

I have detailed cars for many years, febreeze doesn't work, go to a detail shop and see if you can buy an ozone bomb. Turn the car on defrost and heat, crack the windows and let it "cook" in there for a couple of hours. Do this AFTER you clean it or have it cleaned. Shampoo carpets and seats AND headliner. Most people often miss the headliner when they extract it, but its the most important area for desmoking the interior of your car.
