Help! TT 2's wont come clean!!

Well i guess i went to long without cleaning them or something but now i have brakedust that will absolutely not come off these rims (polished by the way). Is there anyway i can get it off and have these rims looking like new? It looks like its permanantly bonded to the rims help

You need to wash polished wheels at least once per week, myself on my billet wheels I wipe them off with a cotton cloth and detailer spray after EACH drive.

You need some metal polish, try Mothers in the little red and white tub.

I agree with Kevin. Metal Magic is also a great product for shining up your polish wheels.

What kind of detailer spray do you use?

I use Eagle One Mag and Aluminum Wheel Polish in the silver tin for polishing my wheels. I usually just wipe them off with a towel after driving to get some of the easy brake-dust off.

I use most of the products listed as well without any troubles on my TT2's.

I also emailed American Racing before I did it, and they said it would be OK to use a white rouge bar and a buffing wheel on the spokes. They finished out very nicely. American Racing tech support said they will be coming out with a new wheel-care product very soon.
